Avino’s San Gennaro Festival and Chowder Contest

To celebrate the traditional San Gennaro Festival, Avino’s held its own “Little Italy” right here in Bellport. There were all kinds of wonderful Italian foods, wine tasting and live Italian music. Being a “family event,” there was Sand Art and Bobbing For Apples for the kids. Later on in the afternoon, a special Chowder Contest was held to benefit the Mercy Center. Avino's Catering We have private catering rooms which will seat 55 people comfortably. We specialize in rehearsal dinners, showers, anniversary parties, holiday parties, corporate functions, birthdays and we have done many weddings as well. We can provide all decorations such as balloons, flowers, and banners. We also have a chef on hand that is a master at ice carving and does beautiful watermelon carvings for any occasion.
