The Bellport Anglers
Our goal is a simple one: To build a youth program that will someday benefit our great community. These kids will not just learn baseball at a competitive level but will also learn the true spirit of teamwork, how to give back to their community, how to deal with adversity, and learning that if you work together, anything can be accomplished. Remembering to respect your opponents when winning, as well as losing. Everyone can benefit as a team; from the coaches, to the players, to their families. Our goal is a simple one: Someday these kids will give back to the same community that has believed in them.

While only in its infancy the organization has developed an excellent reputation by exhibiting class, well mannered and coached kids, both on and off of the baseball fields. It is our goal to enhance the baseball skill of each player and broaden their in-game knowledge that will be necessary to compete at a high level. We also would like to have the players experience valuable lessons in life such as being part of a team, how to act as winners, and how to learn from losing. Most importantly, we want these kids to have fun! It is for the kids of the South Country School District and they need to have fun in order to continue to love the game. We
cannot, however, do this alone. We are requesting your assistance in
sponsoring our organization. The Bellport Anglers would be most grateful
if you would assist us by making a monetary donation or donate a piece
of useful equipment. Any and all donations, no matter how small or
large, are kindly accepted and appreciated. We thank you for your

The
Bellport Anglers is a newly formed organization and is currently seeking
not-for-profit corporation status. The principle behind putting this
club together was to bring together twelve of the most talented players
within the South Country School District for their age group to form a
baseball team and seek to compete against the best competition possible
on a local, regional and national level. By doing this, the kids will be
challenged and become the best they can be as ballplayers, along with
creating great memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. The
organization is thankful to all of the players and families who have
chosen us for their son to play competitive baseball.
