Wow, another great restaurant for people in the Bellport area to enjoy!

We sure are lucky when it comes to great restaurants. We have The Bellport, Porters, The Country Club Restaurant, and now we have The Chachama Grill.

Never mind the shopping center setting, it’s the upscale new American fare with an international flare that lures locals to this small East Patchogue newcomer; chef-owner Elmer Rubio, formerly with the Mill River Inn and a native of El Salvador, draws on his Central American roots, creating enticing entrees like Chilean sea bass with coconut rice and rack of lamb with mushroom risotto.

At times, the Chachama Grill is a challenge to find, but it’s worth the effort. They are in the former Waldbaums Shopping Center at 655 Montauk Highway, Ste. 8 in East Patchogue. Here’s a Map.
