Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth (LIGALY) is
a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that has been providing education, advocacy,
and social support services to Long Island's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and
transgender (GLBT) youth and families since 1993. LIGALY operates Long
Island's only GLBT community center in Bay Shore. Bellport residents can
learn more about LIGALY at any upcoming LIGALY event.
LIGALY provides a broad range of services and
programs including activities for youth, programs for adults and
families, and special events throughout the year. Our calendar available
at our website. The LIGALY Community Center in Bay Shore hosts more than
20 different community groups, and LIGALY services are provided at The
Center and at schools across Long Island.
