Congratulations to SBAA member Betty Wybenga on the publication of her book, "Turtleland." The artistry of nature displayed uniquely in color and markings by the Eastern Box Turtle and as observed by the Wybenga family, is recorded in word and illustration, for early listeners and readers, as well as all who appreciate this animal's ecological interaction with its habitat among us. For more info on Betty's exciting journey, contact bmwybenga@optonline.net.
Mary Bouzianis was accepted into the American Association of Botanical Artists. Congratulations Mary!

Colby has won a commission to create a sculpture for the Northport Veterans Sculpture Committee. Funds are now being raised to have the pieces cast in Bronze. The sculpture depicts a soldier writing a letter home, and then a separate sculpture depicts his wife reading the letter to their child. Congratulations Colby and keep up the good work!
