| Linda
Majowka, owner of Treasure Island Books & Antiques, has been
dealing in books and antiques since 1985 when she opened her
first shop in Brookhaven Hamlet. In 2001, she moved her business
to Bellport Village which at first was on the south side of Main
Street and then relocated the shop to its present location on
the North side of Main Street, right next door to the Sugar Loaf
Cafe.
Although you can find many
different types and kinds of unique items at Treasure Island
Books & Antiques, Linda's own preference is for Empire and Deco
pieces. You'll find an eclectic mix of items from $2 Books and
Handkerchiefs to Antiques valued in the thousands. You'll even
find Costume Jewelry and Linens. The shop is a haven for
individuals and decorators alike.

Interesting and Unusual
Pieces

You never know what interesting and
unusual pieces you'll find at Treasure Island Books & Antiques.
Currently featured in
the store's window is a 4' long ship model that has a very unusual
construction. According to Linda, the ship was
constructed entirely of matches!
If you'd like to see more, just click
on the photo. Better yet, stop down and visit Treasure Island for
yourself. They have a great collection of books and antiques and if you
make Linda an offer she can't refuse, you might even take a ship made
out of matches home with you!
