Friends, neighbors and residents:
Tuesday, June 21st is election day in Bellport Village.
There are two declared candidates on the ballot – Will Veitch and
myself, Jim Vaughan. We are running because, like yourselves, we care
greatly about the Village and are concerned about its future.
It appears that because we are unopposed, we are a “lock” for election.
THAT IS NOT THE CASE! There are a handful of unnamed/undeclared
candidates who are circumnavigating the system to steal a seat as a
“write in” candidate.
DON’T BE FOOLED! Make your vote count. Will and I took the time to do
the necessary work to get on the ballot legally. We will fight to
protect your rights and the Village’s future.
I implore you to take the time to vote at the Community Center on June
21st. Our future and that of the Village are at stake.
