If you plan to be away from your home for any length of time, you can arrange for Village Code Enforcement Officers to make scheduled checks of your property, and patrol the area around your home. House checks are free of charge for Village residents.

If you are interested in setting up house checks, visit the Village Hall prior to your departure to complete a form with the information necessary for this service. All information will be kept strictly confidential. There is no minimum amount of time needed to be away from your residence to have a house check set up.
