Village Tax Rate

The 2008 village tax rate is $2.06 per hundred dollars of official assessed value.

Tax and Landfill Bills

Village Tax and Landfill bills are mailed once a year at the end of May. Taxes are due between June 1st and June 30th without penalty. There is a 5% penalty if payment is received in July and there is an additional 1% per month for each additional month that taxes remain unpaid. If the billed property has changed hands, the Village Hall may not be aware of it. Please attempt to forward the bill to the new owner, or contact the Village Hall at 631-286-0327 between 10:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

If you have satisfied your mortgage, and taxes are no longer escrowed, please advise the Village Hall.
