Yoga on the Bay

Yoga on the Bay Begins
Thursday, July 6th

The Sanskrit word “yoga” means “union” or “to join.” On a personal level the practice fosters the union of body, mind, heart and spirit. Yet, yoga is much larger than the personal. It helps us recognize the union of nature and all beings. What better place to practice this ancient science of well-being than at Mother's Beach, surrounded by sea, sand and sky, where with each breath we are reminded of our inner wholeness and deep connection to all things. This summer series, open to all, is held every Thursday in July and August from 8:00am-9:15am.  Click here for more information.

Each week there will be a brief teaching about a specific health issue or medical condition, along with yoga postures and breathing techniques that address these issues. Some of those to be included are: Enhancing and Strengthening the Immune System, Blood Pressure, Stress Transformation, Heart Health, Joint Safety, Chronic Pain Relief, Emotional Health, Maintaining Bone Mass, and Balance.  Click here for more information.
